Headstreams New Play Series

Headstreams New Play Series will expand Sidekick Theatre’s mission in bold new ways. There are many plays which we have been eager to share with our audience but we couldn’t find a time for them on our main stage schedule. Headstreams will now allow us to explore different voices and stories and present them in repertory with our main stage shows.

We are thrilled to launch the series with the world premier of HIT AND RUN.

March 25 - April 16, 2024

This new musical developed by Sidekick Theatre that tells the little-known story of the integration of professional baseball before the era of Jackie Robinson when a group of young Black players resolved to dismantle baseball’s color line in Minnesota.
